We are J.C. & Katie, and we live in Southwest Michigan, and sell our teas at farmer's markets and artisan shows. You may have stepped up to our Traveling Tea Table since October of 2022, and we hope you continue to step up to talk tea with us for years to come.
We fell in love over many cups of tea in the late 90's - while we got to know each other over chat dates, we introduced our favorite blends, and then discovered so many more. For the last couple of decades, we've had the opportunity to visit tea shops all over the United States, as well as Europe and South Africa and have enjoyed tasting teas thorughout our travels.
As we experienced life, we both found passion in many things, but the desire was largest to work together and build something to pour our lives into.
In 2014, after a chance meeting at a farmer's market in Indianapolis, we met a tea master who inspired to take the leap and start our business, ADHTeas. J.C. started an apprentice relationship with the master and in 2015 our business was born. You could find us at markets at Binford, Broad Ripple, Avon, Plainfield, as well as the Indy Winter Farmer's Market in downtown Indianapolis.
In 2017, we relocated to Denver where we continued to build our business at the Parker, Southlands, and South University Farmer's Markets through 2019. And then, 2020 hit.
We moved to Michigan in late 2020 and relaunched our business in late 2022 under a new name, JC+KTeas. In 2023, you could find us at Skip's European Farmer's Market, the Bridgman Open Air Market, Berrien Springs Markets, Round Barn Estate, Box Factory for the Arts, Fernwood Botanical Garden, Market 2555, Sideyard, Union + Social, Wandering Gypsy Soul, the Health Fair at Andrews University, and the River of Life Yoga studio, among others.
